Another one LM317 calculator ...
The above example shows Vin=+12V which results to a maximum output voltage 10VDC aprox.
As LM317 can regulate higher voltages you have to adjust electrolytic capacitors working voltage also!
Adjust values for R1, R2 to see the output voltage. Typical value for R1=240 Ohms.
Read datasheet for exact Vin-Vout requirements, 2-2.5V is enough for most purposes.
